Many of our customers buy head wear to cover hair loss caused by illness or alopecia.
Here are some brief notes on the range of products we have available.

Paisley Bandana
Classic style bandana with paisley pattern around the border and small paisley symbols dotted around the center, or with just a paisley patterned border have always been in style. 
The patterns is achieved on most bananas by screen printing onto one side of the fabric.  The ink used is raised and gives the bandana a rough feel on the printed side.  This pattern also washes off in regular machine washing so hand washing in cool water is required.  Because more starch is used to keep the bandana from bending during the printing process, these types will need a good wash and several rinses to get rid of excess starch that may irritate delicate scalp during or after chemotherapy.  THE BANDANAS WE SELL ARE NOT AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

Our paisley bandana scarves are double sided, which means the pattern is visible on both sides.  The ink used is slightly different and actually goes deep into the fabric, making no uncomfortable raised or sharp surfaces.  The pattern will not wash off in a washing machine, but will fade naturally (along with any strong colour, as all strong coloured 100% cotton garments do), slowly over many, many washes.  Less starch is used and in some cases the bandana can be worn immediately without prior washing as they are soft enough not to irritate.  See our range of paisley bandana here .


Plain Bandana
We stock 4 different sizes of cotton head scarf.  All are 100% high thread count cotton and all are machine washable. 

Our Triangle scarves are typically half bandana and measures approx 22 inches by 22 inches by 30 inches, which is the same size as our regular bandana when you fold them in half.  Because they have less material, they are easier to tie and a little less bulky.  Perfect for summer weight head wear.  These also make better head wear for babies (less weight) and for dog collars.  Many of our customers use them to cover tracheostomy / tracheotomy scars as they are lighter and can be worn many ways around the neck area.  See our range of Triangle Bandana here.

Our Medium bandana measure approx 18 inches square and ideally suited for those of us with smaller heads, but who want a full bandana.  Again, great for baby hats and pets.  See our range of Medium Bandana here.

Patterned Bandana
Most of our patterned range is 100% cotton, but some are cotton mix.  The cotton mix bandana are more colourful and will keep the colour/pattern longer due to the manmade fibre element of their makeup.  We have split these bandanas into sections.  See our Girly bandana range, that includes Betty Boop, fairies, rainbows and retro patterned styles.  Our Biker range includes motorbike themes, skulls, flames, lots of black scarves AND scarves for lady bikers too.  Our range of Camouflage bandanas range doesn't just stick to blending in with the background.  We offer bright pink, orange and blue options to the usual desert and foliage styles.  Our unusual bandana range includes animal prints, star and planet designs as well as checked and hobby themed scarves.

Zandana
Cotton zandana are also known as a danna or durag and are basically caps that tie at the back.  We stock a wide range of colours that are one size only.  We also stock some that are lightly elasticated around the edge for better comfort and fit.  See our zandana range here.

Buff Style headwear.
These are basically tubes of microfiber fabric that can be worn on the head or neck in 12 different ways.  Beautifully soft and breathable, they are perfect for complete head coverage, or even as just a headband.  Machine washable, they dry in the blink of an eye and the colour will stay true through many washes.  See our Buff style range here.
